The 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship kicks off for the Finnish national team Leijonat on the opening day of the tournament Friday May 10, when Finland faces the host team Czech Republic. Finland will play its preliminary round matches in Prague.

Veikkaus is the main partner of the Finnish Ice Hockey Association and the national team Leijonat. We will broadcast Finland's games live on the screens of the Casino Helsinki Sports Bar.

The change negotiations, which were launched at the beginning of September, and which concerned a total of 825 employees, have now been finalized. Veikkaus’ organizational structure will undergo changes that will support strategy-based goals, i.e., to be the market leader in Finland in the future and an internationally competitive, growing gambling company.

As a consequence of the change negotiations Casino Tampere will be closed after 9^th, December 2023.

Casino Helsinki is open today, on the eve of Finnish Independence Day, until 04:00. Tomorrow, Wednesday 6.12. the casino is open from 15:00 to 02:00.

Casino Tampere's opening hours will be slightly changed from Monday 6 March 2023. In the future, from Sunday to Thursday, we will open the doors one hour later, at 4:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday opening hours remain unchanged.

Casino Tampere has won the World's Best New Casino award in the World Casino Awards. The World Casino Awards were awarded for the second time and the awards program is a sister event to the World Travel Awards, which has been awarded since 1994.

Casino Helsinki is open throughout the Christmas holidays, but we open on December 24 and 25 at 6:00 p.m. Casino Tampere is closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and also on New Year's Day. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2023!

Casino Tampere celebrates its one-year anniversary on December 15-17, 2022. The program includes music performances by Jonna Geagea and Sebastian Rejman, the CT1V party poker tournament and an evening party led by DJ Morenna.

The 22nd FIFA World Cup will be played from November 20 to December 18, 2022. We will show the games live on the screens of Casino Helsinki Sports Bar and Suisto Sports Lounge in Tampere. In Helsinki, you can also watch the games at Fennia Salonki starting December 3.

Our casinos are open according to normal opening hours on Finnish Independence Day.

December 5th, on the eve of Independence Day, Casino Tampere is open until 04 am, due to the event in the Nokia Arena. Casino Tampere is closed on Sunday December 4th.

Casino Helsinki and Casino Tampere are open during normal opening hours throughout the summer. The only exception is Midsummer on Saturday 25th and the following Sunday 26th June, when Casino Tampere is exceptionally closed. Casino Helsinki is open on Midsummer.
