International Women’s Day Poker Tournament at Casino Helsinki on March 8, 2025

This year, the Women’s Day Poker Tournament will be played in a Terminator format. This means that each player will have a 20 euro bounty chip in front of them. When a player eliminates another from the tournament, they get to keep the eliminated player’s 20 euro bounty chip. The tournament format is Texas No Limit with re-entry.

The tournament fee is 70 euros in total. Of this, 35 euros go towards the general prize pool, and the aforementioned 20 euros is for bounty winnings. A brunch is available during the first break of the tournament for 15 euros. The Women’s Day tournament is a poker event specifically designed for women.

Ticket sales begin on February 12 at the casino’s cashiers. A portion of the tickets can also be reserved through Veikkaus customer service (02000 55000). Ticket reservations will start when the casino opens on February 12. Reserved tickets must be redeemed at the casino cashier no later than 15 minutes before the tournament begins. Any released tickets can be inquired about at Casino Helsinki’s cashier on the day of the tournament.
