Vakio
Vakio (football pools) is Veikkaus’ oldest game, launched as early as September 1940. Many people still consider Saturday’s Ykkösvakio of 13 markets to be the king of games. Vakio’s biggest jackpot dates from February 2021, when a player landed a million euros with a single line. A line of Ykkösvakio costs 0.25 euros.
Vakio’s lines comprise 6–20 matches, and you bet on the correct entry of 1X2 for the regular game time. Vakio’s entries are 1=home win, X= tie, and 2= away win.
The Vakio games have 1–4 prize tiers, with the winning dividends determined by the game turnover and the number of hits. The price per line varies according to the number of markets, starting from 0.10 euros.
Vakio Grand Prix is Vakio’s newest game form. It has 18 markets, and the price per line is 0.10 euros. What is special about it is that the highest tier is the best result realized, which, in other words, can be – and often is – less than “match all”. The other prize tiers are calculated downwards from the best result realized. The first round of Vakio Grand Prix generated immediately the third biggest winning in Vakio of all times, a bit over 540,000 euros.
