In Roulette you can bet with either table-specific chips or value chips. While purchasing your chips, you should tell the croupier which value you wish the chips to have. When you want to exit the table, your chips are exchanged into value chips.
You can place the bets on single numbers or their combinations, dozens, columns and even chances. Winnings are paid according to the table below:
The even chances are black, red, even, odd, 1–18 and 19–36.
If the ball falls on zero, all bets on columns and dozens lose and bets on even numbers lose half of their value. Bets that include zero are paid out normally.
The payout of Roulette on the number field, dozens, and columns is 97.3% and on even chances 98.7%.
These rules are based on Veikkaus’ casino and slots game rules.
Winnings on the number field and the side fields are paid out at the rates given above. If the ball falls on zero, all bets on columns and dozens lose and bets on even numbers lose, but bets on even chances only lose half of their value. Bets that include zero are paid out normally. If your winning is big, you can ask a part of it or, of course, the whole winning, to be paid out as value chips, if you wish. You must do this before the croupier and the supervisor have prepared the payout.
The minimum and maximum bets for the tables are announced separately for each table. The bet limits are usually the following:
|Dozens & Columns||40||1,000||40||1,000|
The largest possible winning at a five-euro minimum table on one round with the maximum bet is 79,200 euros for a single number (number 2). Playing the side fields increases the winning to 89,200 euros.
